GTA Swim's Skills & Drills Program offers an introduction to advanced swim skills in a three level progressive program (curriculum details for each level are outlined in PDF at bottom of page).
In addition to working on stroke development, participants will also be introduced to starts and finishes, as well as a component of fitness training to build on their endurance in the water. Stroke improvement, sprint and endurance training over increasing distances, and repetitions are all part of the program.
This program is designed for kids (ages 8-12), under the following admissions criteria:
Skills and Drills Level 1 - Must have completed Swimmer 3
Skills and drills Level 2 - Must have completed Swimmer 4
Skills and drills Level 3 - Must have completed Swimmer 5
