Too young for the Bronze Medallion? Our Skills & Drills program keeps swimmers active and engaged while they develop essential swimming skills. This program is tailored for young swimmers who are not yet eligible for Bronze Medallion and want to keep enhancing their swimming technique.
Skills & Drills emphasizes swimming stroke correction and focuses on techniques for front crawl, back crawl, and breaststroke, helping participants swim more efficiently and cover longer distances. Each session includes structured drills for swimmers, starts and finishes, sprint work, endurance sets, and repetitions specifically designed to build strength, stamina, and solid swimming habits.
This dynamic program is perfect for youth swimming classes that encourage hard work and motion while fostering a sense of pride in progress week after week.
Equipment Note: Swim fins are recommended to enhance swimming skills and support endurance work. Simple, inexpensive fins are perfectly suitable.
